There’s a clear and consistent quality to the merlot fruit produced in this vineyard.
The youthful exuberance of this release is offset by a more welcoming attitude to spice and structure – just ripe red plums and the crunchy acidity they bring. Red cherries through the palate – a beautifully balanced wine with sapidity and focus. The fruit is pristine. No better word for it. High cheek bones with a statuesque frame. Re-defining the image of premium merlot in this country.
