A deep generous but well-balanced Shiraz that has a deep opaque red gum hue. The Bouquet is fragrant with Australian Alpine terroir notes, hints of sweet liquorice spice and pepper tree freshness mingle with a Victorian bush carpet revealing lifted wooden overtones.
There are elements of earthy truffle, fruitcake and liquorice with just a slight hint of eucalypt. The wine's fine tightly wound tannins and sweet woodsy timbered nuances flow to a smooth long finish. This wine is slightly wild, highly contemporary and uniquely and unashamedly Australian in personality. A revelation!
